I came to Bangkok as someone who had never traveled outside his own country. I overpaid for rooms, made mistakes and learned what a neighborhood can do to your whole week.
That’s where this starts.
People see the content and ask the same questions: where to stay, how much to bring, what to download, how to plan the first night. This guide puts the useful answers in one place.
It is personal. I have preferences, and your version of Bangkok might look different. The aim is to give you enough context to make your own decisions.
